Themed Rooms [continued] by: Peem | edited by: Bologna
[continued from the front page] Rumor has it that Sims such as Don Lothario, Cyd Roseland, and Daniel Pleasant have once had exotic Bachelor pads. These are perfect for any single man, trying to impress those ladies. How can I possibly pull off something so different, you ask? Sit back, relax, and let me take over your brain..err.. I mean instruct you how, Yes! That's it. For this room, I suggest you use a medium sized living room. Be creative with the floors and walls, but not to abstract, I mean face it, you can't expect to get a date with flame walls and zebra carpet! Try to tone it down, but still keep it fresh. Something like mixed blue and green carpet, with blue spotlight walls. This will give your Sim's pad a club feeling without ever having to leave the lot! Add entertaining items such as a floor plasma T.V, with connecting seats to make a couch! Also, don't forget items that bring in sims of any gender such as a D.J. booth for those ever so long smustling nights, a bar for nights that you just want to let loose, and even a dance sphere for the more outgoing sims. Soon enough, you'll have a line at your sims front door of people trying to get in!
Are you living with a wannabe pampered princess? Well then why not fulfill her needs and still keep some money left over for that giant gorilla statue you've always wanted! Just follow these easy rules and in no time you'll be living with royalty! This room also needs to be a child sized room, because even though real princess's live in castles, you don't! Start out with the basics, pink crown carpet with the pink castle wall paper. With this wallpaper, you can even add panels with dragons and towers to really get that pampered feeling going. Now, what would a Princess be if she didn't sleep in a castle? (No, not a real castle, a castle bed silly!) That's right, all you have to do is buy the castle bed in pink, then add pink sheets (which can be in any print of your choice!). Complete the room with toys, a desk, a mirror to admire the princess in, and a new wardrobe fit for a queen (Or in our case a princess!). With that said, I now give thee an imaginary award of themed room designing! Wait, or not.. I suppose I forgot to print those, so instead I award thee with, umm a pat on the back from who else, but the one, the only, YOU!
With all of these tips and tricks that you just learned, you'll have the best themed rooms on the block! Now all you have to do is use your imagination to create even more themed rooms! More ideas for themed rooms include: Beach Bathrooms, Pampered Pooch Palace,Zoooom! (A Race track room), and so much more!
