IKEA Recently Released by: Bologna | edited by: Bologna
The newest stuff pack, IKEA Home Stuff was released just earlier this week. While we really haven’t heard of many major disturbances in the SP, here are some of the things we have heard, the good and the bad.
First off, to those that ordered their SP from the EA store and have not received your email containing the bonus item code, they are on their way. Check your spam folder if you’ve yet to receive it or just be patient.
Many like the SP, many don’t. Of course things will be this way. Those who tend to enjoy home building and designing may really like this EP. Those who concentrate strictly on playing may not find use for it. However those who have liked it praise the well designed objects in IKEA Stuff. Many really appreciate how well the new furniture pieces fit in with some of the older stuff. We’ve also heard talk about how much they love the amount of possibilities. The furniture all clicks well together.
We’ve heard others bash the stuff pack as well. Saying it was pointless, not worth their time, and could have just been included with Apartment Life. Which could be true. However whether or not you get Apartment Life, this stuff pack will please those of you who are sick of the normal furniture you use. Getting Apartment Life with this is just an added bonus, as this pack gives you the perfect new stuff to furnish your Sims’ brand new apartments. All in all, every stuff pack comes with limited items, but the items in this pack are nice, sleek, and usable. If you find yourself downloading furniture from fansites all the time, this may just be the stuff pack for you.
The Sims 2 Apartment Life Image Reasoning by: Bologna | edited by: Bologna
Recently, two newer images have come up on the web showing the next EP, the Sims 2 Apartment Life. One image is of a park and some locals hanging out at it. One thing this picture shows is two snack or soda machines. I’d assume these are similar machines to that which your Sims buy cellular devices. A quick way to fulfill your Sims’ hunger while at a community lot.
This picture mainly just shows the playground. There is a fort where the young Sims need to climb up a small ladder to get to. There is a slide much like the one available for the pool (comes with and Expansion Pack), some monkey bars that even teens can swing from, a “Push Yourself” merry go round wheel, and the swings which we’ve all seen before.
Kids aren’t the only ones having fun at this playground, however. Toddlers, teens, and adults alike can all join in on the fun! Some of the equipment is available for all ages, there are even special toys for toddlers. Plus you can see a Sim jumping rope in the image, this makes one question if other games like kick the can or hopscotch may be included.
The second image we look at takes place at the outside of an apartment complex. You see five Sims standing out front (have high-fives always been available?) one is checking her mailbox, because now in the apartment you get an actual box compartment for mail, of course. A cool thing in this picture is the awning. It’s a welcoming little awning to the front door. Now, who is this man with the clipboard and what is he doing? Perhaps he’s the landlord, or perhaps a door to door salesman. We’ll just have to find out when the EP comes.
The final thing you can see, in both of the pictures, I guess, are the new outfits and hairstyles. So while we knew some of this already and it wasn’t all big news, images as simple as these can show you the tiniest of details in oncoming expansion packs. Keep your eyes peeled for the little things in images to come.
